FREE workshops for women of all ages and abilities!

Did you miss out on your education? Do you lack confidence or need additional support? Then Hillcroft’s 2020 Beyond Education initiative could provide exciting opportunities for your future.

This Lottery Funded programme is designed to support women to explore new opportunities through a wide range of activities, to gain new skills, develop confidence and improve wellbeing.

We have a range FREE women only workshops available. Start building your confidence and self-esteem and book with us today.

A chance to deeply relax, to find calm, and to gently transform how you feel about past events so they stop arising in your mind. The 4 hour workshop will give you the skills to develop confidence to break down the barriers that are holding you back to grieve, be happy, move on, to learn etc.

Be prepared for a workshop with loads of information, fun and learning as well as most importantly lots of Beauty Product making. Are you environmentally aware or just love being a bit crafty, maybe you are just fed up of spending lots of money on your make-up.

Why not try your hand at whisking together your very own, Pink Blusher, Black Eye Liner, Coloured Nail Varnish, homemade fake tan, or your very own lipstick. Come along and discover a unique craft.

Wed 08 Nov 2017 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

This fantastic workshop provides a recipe for relaxation. Come and enjoy a mini miracle. A full mini experience - will include: a manicure and hand massage, shoulder massage, facial, pedicure and head massage. What’s more all participants will receive a free goodie bag.

A personal and individual opportunity for self-expression, self-exploration and self-discovery. 1-hr sessions will be held in a safe space where acceptance is given to every individual’s unique movement style, you will be guided through movement explorations to express emotions that may be difficult to verbalise and explore yourself creatively to reach a fuller understanding of yourself.

Be prepared for a fun evening, with loads of information and learning how to make a range of Christmas decorations. This Fun workshop serves as an introduction to the basic techniques and skills associated with this marvellous craft. You’ll leave with the confidence to go away and keep creating and making.

An introductory series of workshops for women interested in finding out what Tai Chi is, as well as for those wishing to learn and practice some foundation exercises, postures and movements. Tai Chi is an ancient and gentle form of exercise that is suitable for people of all ages. It consists of slow movements, accompanied by natural breathing, that help to develop both physical strength and mental well being

Tai Chi helps to improve co-ordination, concentration, cardio vascular fitness and general flexibility. It is sometimes referred to as a ‘walking meditation’, and this meditative aspect of Tai Chi helps to relax the mind, lift the spirits and promote a feeling of general wellbeing.

Loose comfortable clothing and flexible shoes required. It is helpful to bring some water with you.

Singing is a great way to make friends, boost self-esteem and confidence and its fun! Designed to encourage you to find your voice, increase your confidence, work in harmony with others and develop your listening skills. You won’t be asked to sing alone, and there is no need to read music. These workshops are often described as fun, engaging, uplifting and full of enthusiasm and joy.

Take time to pause with a meditation at Christmas: meditations to bring peace and calm, helping us re-focus on where we are now, and to enjoy what we are facing over the holiday period.

A fun and uplifting singing concert to enhance wellbeing and get into the Christmas spirit. Working in small groups to combine your natural harmonies. You won’t be asked to sing alone, and there is no need to read music. This concert will be fun, engaging, uplifting and full of enthusiasm and joy.
